Rick Williams - Managing Director

Rick Williams, the Managing Director, is an award winning professional businessman that has owned, managed and created a number of successful businesses from local service companies to national manufacturing operations. 

An entrepreneur spirit that drove ideas to concept to building manufacturing and international distribution of products sold through dealers, private label placement and brands that were sold though major retailers like Home Depot, Lowes, Builders Square and Menards.

Growing up in a family owned distribution and service business, Rick knows the intricacies and dynamics of family run organizations. Shortly after college Rick became the president of a family owned building materials business, Working with his father and many people much older he was respected for his innovation, leadership, hard work, vision, empowerment of others, delegation, goal accomplishment and commitment to make the business succeed.

Running a family business and then starting his own manufacturing and international distribution company he has dealt with all the issues that that come up in building a business: funding, planning, day to day operations, sales, collections, vendor selection, customer issues, margin, vision and more.

In 1998 two of his companies (manufacturing and distribution company) were completely destroyed by a fire. The fire was intentionally set by a burglar trying to cover his tracks, he was caught after destroying 9 other businesses.  The fire completely destroyed the custom manufacturing components of a patented product line and a total destruction of a manufacturing facility that was the length of a football field. Even with the destruction; bills go on and hundreds of employees counted on him for their lively hood.

The way you react to the tragedies and crisis that come up in your business is what set you apart. Starting on the night of the fire Rick managed the business back to functional operation at light speed. Dealing with complex logistical, manufacturing, customer and financing issues the companies went from down and out to thriving.
